Fast Track Program

The Fast Track program is a beginner food gardening course held in the spring and early summer for anyone new to gardening or looking for a refresher on the basics. The program consists of 5 classes held over the course of 3 weeks: Garden Planning, General Maintenance, Pest & Disease Management, Harvest and Hygiene, and Garden-to-Table Cooking.

Our hands-on lesson format means, even in a classroom setting, you’ll be able to see and touch the garden. Our staff and volunteer instructors are experienced, patient and friendly, and our small class sizes of up to 15 households ensure everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and connect with others in the class.

Our pilot season of the Fast Track program will be offered in Fitchburg. Dates and times are to be determined and will be based on participant availability.
