COMMUNITY TEACHING GARDENS

WHAT ARE COMMUNITY TEACHING GARDENS?

Community Teaching Gardens (CTGs) have gardening education built right into the season so that everyone – from beginners to experienced vegetable gardeners – has the support they need to grow, harvest and use fresh, healthy produce.

WHO SHOULD JOIN?

Our gardens are perfect for North Central MA residents looking for:

  • space to garden
  • beginner gardening lessons
  • quality, inexpensive plant material
  • garden-to-table recipes
  • a community of local gardeners

All applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis with priority given to income-qualified households in Leominster, Fitchburg and Clinton.

Note: We strongly encourage families to garden together and welcome children ages 12 and up to join in during gardening lessons!
