Growing Places Garden Project celebrated 10 years of growing gardeners and feeding families by gathering together for a local harvest meal and festivities. The evening’s events included speaker Layanee DeMerchant of The Garden Guys 69.9 FM who shared a history of gardening in the United States, a silent auction, and honoring of Growing Places dynamic co-founders Kate Deyst and Cindy Buhner.
