Get Your School Involved
Growing Places wants kids to be involved in our program and we’ve created many opportunities for schools to help us make that happen. By partnering with Growing Places, we can:
- Bring gardens to your schools
- Introduce Nutrition Education and Cooking Workshops to students of all ages
- Provide garden tours showing students where their food comes from
- Offer volunteer opportunities for school and family groups
- Mentor college interns as garden/nutrition educators
- Help schools offer gardening and cooking activities at area summer camps and programs
